M° Mattia Barbagallo

Mattia Barbagallo,  giovane pianista catanese classe '02. Ha conseguito il diploma accademico di secondo livello presso il conservatorio "Francesco Cilea" di Reggio Calabria con il massimo dei voti, sotto la sapiente guida del maestro Giuseppe Gullotta. Suoi sono numerosi e pregevoli piazzamenti in prestigiosi concorsi Internazionali, fra i quali spiccano il concorso "Premio Cilea", il concorso "Coppa pianisti d’Italia" di Oleggio ed il concorso "Città di Treviso". Ha anche preso parte a numerose masterclass di alto perfezionamento pianistico sotto la guida dei maestri Giuseppe Andaloro, Benedetto Lupo, Enrico Pace, H. Batiz e L. Margarius. Attualmente frequenta il master in Interpretazione della Musica Contemporanea presso il conservatorio “Santa Cecilia” di Roma e contestualmente il III anno della facoltà di lettere moderne presso il dipartimento di scienze umanistiche dell’università di Catania. Collabora stabilmente da due anni con Stradivarius per numerosi progetti di incisione.

Mattia Barbagallo, a young pianist from Catania born in '02. He obtained a second-level academic diploma at the "Francesco Cilea" conservatory in Reggio Calabria with honors, under the wise guidance of maestro Giuseppe Gullotta. His are numerous and valuable placements in prestigious international competitions, among which the "Cilea Prize" competition, the "Coppa pianisti d'Italia" competition in Oleggio and the "City of Treviso" competition stand out. He has also taken part in numerous masterclasses of high piano specialization under the guidance of the masters Giuseppe Andaloro, Benedetto Lupo, Enrico Pace, H. Batiz and L. Margarius. He is currently attending the master's degree in Interpretation of Contemporary Music at the "Santa Cecilia" conservatory in Rome and at the same time the third year of the faculty of modern literature at the Department of Humanities of the University of Catania.
